As a research scientist and an artist, I am driven by curiosity and passion. I’m not afraid to fail, because hard things take more than one attempt. I love using photography, fractals, pop-up art, art deco design, bookbinding, and water color painting to bring wonderment to science, water polo, travel, science fiction, and math.
At the moment, I’m imagining the New Mexican landscape in the context of art deco design. My beautiful state contains a variety I had never imagined—volcanos, deserts, science installations, mountains, canyons, ancient ruins, and rich cultures. There’s no shortage of inspiration for curiosity and passion.
